On 21 November, a senior delegation from Xi’an University of Posts and Tele communications (XUPT), visited The Sino-British College (SBC). Prof.Du Huimin,Dean of School of Electronic Engineering. Prof.Liu Youyao,Vice Dean of School of Electronic Engineering. Prof.Zhang Xin,Programme Leader of School of Electronic Engineering.
Members of SBC executive team met with the officials on their arrival, including Dr Liu Bin, Secretary of the Joint General Party Branch and Deputy Director of Campus Management Committee, USST and the representatives from administrative team attended this conference by Dr Adrian Chong,Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader of School of Engineering and Computing, Wendy Liu,Registry Manager. Grace Gu,Senior OS Consultant. Ben Wang,Head of PR & Marketing.
On behalf of the College Executive team, Dr Liu Bin extended a warm welcome to Prof.Du Huimin and her colleagues and gave a brief introduction of SBC and its plan of activities for the future.
In response, Prof.Du Huimin introduced the research achievements of Xi’an University of Posts and Telecommunications (XUPT), particularly in science and engineering field, including the professional courses and placement opportunities in companies, etc.
Following the meeting, Dr Liu Bin invited Prof. Du Huimin and her colleagues to tour the SBC campus and view the facilities. Student entrepreneurial team “XINGMO” (A Highquality stationery brand which was created by SBC student Yu Haoyuan) and Robots Society presented some of their latest creative works in SBC Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre. Prof. Du Huimin and her colleagues highlyrecognized the efforts made by SBC in developing socially responsible and innovative leaders and offering a truly international learning environment to students.
