On 16 November, a senior delegation from Sino-Italian Campus, Tongji University, visited The Sino-British College (SBC). Dr Chen Kangli, Director of Administration Office and College of Electronic & Information Engineering Assistant Dean,Sino-Italian Campus, Tongji University was accompanied by Yuzhou, Deputy Director of General Office, Ouning,International Exchange Supervisor. Members of SBC executive team met with the officials on their arrival, including Professor John wilson Principal and CEO of SBC ,Professor Linda Liu, Vice-Dean of SBC and the representatives from administrative team attended this conference.
On behalf of SBC, Professor Linda Liu extended a warm welcome to the officials. Then she gave a brief introduction on the establishment and recent development of SBC. Following the presentation, in-depth discussions were held on the running of Sino-foreign JV education, collaboration with partners, quality of teaching, and graduates employment. After the conference, Professor Linda Liu invited the officials to experience the SBC campus and view the facilities.
Professor Liu expressed that communication with educational institutions is greatly encouraged by SBC. It is hoped that collaboration between the two institutions can be enhanced in the future to promote the development of international education together.
Dr Chen Kangli highly recognised the efforts made by SBC in offering a truly international learning environment to students and agreed that Sino-Italian Campus and SBC would explore the potential for further collaboration on international students, research partnerships and scientific research cooperation.
