On 16th October, Professor Jeanne Keay, Pro Vice Chancellor of Leeds Beckett University, visited The Sino-British College (SBC). Professor Jeanne Keay was accompanied by Mr Chris Watts, Director of Recruitment, Professor John Shutt from Leeds Business Schooland Xingfei Liu, Business Development Manager.
Professor John Wilson, Principal and CEO of SBC welcomed the visitors on behalf of the College. A business meeting was held by the representatives with senior colleagues from SBC to discuss aspects of collaboration. From SBC, the meeting was attended by Gordon Callan, Head of School of Languages, Education and Cultures, Andy Ritchie, Programme leader and senior lecturer of School of Business and Management, Iris Yuan, Director of International Affairs and Ben Wang, Director of Marketing and Public Relations.
At the meeting, the delegation engaged in wide-ranging discussions with the SBC team on further strengthen the cooperative ties between the two institutions and provide an opportunity for SBC students and staff to be informed about the latest developments at Leeds Beckett University.
Professor Jeanne Keay thanked SBC for the continued support for enhancing the cooperation between the two institutions and agreed that Leeds Beckett and SBC would explore the potential for further collaboration on international students,partner programmes and scientific research cooperation.
