SBC T1 scholarships offered to outstanding high school graduates

2017 SBC T1 Scholarship Programme attracted a significant number of potential students with top academic performance and excellent English language skills. After a comprehensive evaluation process, nearly 40 high school graduates were offered places for the T-Week Programme, which was run as a key element of the T1 Scholarship Programme from the 14th to the 20th August. The final speech competition and the award ceremony were held on the 20th August.

There were 10 students shortlisted for the finals based on the result of the preliminary competition. At the finals, each student was asked to give a 10-minute presentation on a “technological innovation” topic. Out of the 10 finalists, SBC T1 Programme Top Scholarship was presented to Zhao Yi from the Affiliated High School to Hangzhou Normal University and You Shengjie from the No.3 Middle School Of Fuzhou. The best popularity award was presented to Liu Jingwen from the Attached Middle School To Jiangxi Normal University.

The finals and the award ceremony was attended by Professor Linda Liu, Vice-Dean of SBC, Enterprise representatives Mr. Xu Miao as manager of PartnerX, the academic team from SBC and the student mentors of the T1 Programme.
