According to the latest statistics from the Department of Overseas Service for this year, SBC students in split-degree programmes have shown a great performance in progressing further at our nine partner universities in the UK.
About 230 SBC students were accepted by the UK partner universities for two years of study in Britain. Of these, over 170 students received scholarships valued at a total at over £244,500 from the UK universities. This shows the high-degree of recognition given to SBC students for their academic ability and English skills by the UK partner universities, as well as their trust in the teaching quality of SBC.
In addition, Zheng Mengting has been enrolled at Leeds University Business School (LUBS) with a £5,000 scholarship from NCUK and a £2,500 scholarship from LUBS, making her the biggest winner this year. LUBS is a leading, full-service business school and one of the most highly regarded in Europe. It holds a ‘Triple Crown’ of accreditations from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, placing in the top 1% of business schools globally.
Gordon Callan, Director of Teaching and Learning at SBC said: “I am very pleased about the fact that our students at SBC are doing extremely well in terms of progression into our partner universities in the UK. This also reflects the rising of quality in teaching and learning at SBC.”
