The SBC Career Service and Development Centre (CSD) is committed to enhance SBC students’ employability skills in the global market by cooperating with prestigious enterprises. In 2015, SBC CSD teamed up with Adecco Group, the global leader in HR solutions, launching the “Way to Work” programme to encourage students to practice what they learn in the class and achieve self-fulfillment. Through the first SBC Career Planning Competition, judges from FESCO Adecco were impressed with student contestants’ comprehensive abilities and invited the top ten contestants to join the “CEO for A Month” programme.
In the end, Bruno Paul Gargerle won and joined the “CEO for One Month” programme. Ni Ying, CEO of FESCO, will personally tutor Bruno for a month. Following this, Bruno will compete with candidates from over 30 countries in the programme for the opportunity of shadowing the CEO of Adecco Group and learning how to manage 500 fortune companies.
The programme is designed to offer the young people the opportunity of working as a CEO. With recommendations from global branches of Adecco Group, outstanding young candidates from all over the world will compete with each other to win the opportunity of working as a CEO at Adecco Group for one month. To be specific, the winner of the programme would become CEO for one month under the direct supervision and mentorship of our very own Adecco Group CEO. FESCO Adecco joined the programme this year.
Having received the interview notice from FESCO Adecco, SBC CSD teachers gave all the SBC candidates personal tutoring which included how to practical plans with strict logic, how to make their plans unique and how to talk with CEO face to face. All this tutoring and advice helped the candidates become fully prepared for the programme.
