Nicholas Jackson, Head of Year 1 (Management) and Senior Teaching Fellow in Organisational Behaviour, together with Julia Braham, International Tutor from the Business School at the University of Leeds (LUBS) led a delegation from the University which visited the SBC on June 9 and 10. The delegation also included ten student representatives from LUBS. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Gordon Callan, Director of Teaching and Learning of SBC.
During the two-day visit, SBC students received detailed information about studying in LUBS and living in Leeds from the delegation through several lectures and seminars. Based on their own personal experience, Student representatives from LUBS offered some tips about preparing personal belongings before leaving for the UK. They also gave suggestions on how to manage one’s study time efficiently.
The delegation expressed their gladness at having the opportunity to offer SBC students a comprehensive overview of life at LUBS. Gordon Callan, Director of Teaching and Learning at SBC, thanked the LUBS delegation for offering such a helpful and informative programme on life at LUBS and living in the UK, which is of great use to SBC students.
