On December 23, the International Students’ Service Dept. of Student Union held a wonderful Christmas party for international students at SBC’s English Tearoom. Around 80 people joined the party, including a dozen international students and several foreign teachers. During the party, except for the delicious food and drinks, participants enjoyed great performances from Chinese students, International students and foreign teachers. Prof Gow, SBC Principal and CEO, also joined the party by giving a rousing rendition of a beautiful song, and passing along his best wishes to all the students.
The same week saw the Academic Unit host the annual Academic Staff Christmas Party at SBC English Tearoom on the 27th December. Around 60 people attended, including staff from SBC’s various academic departments, directors and members of administration units, for a great night of partying and fun. SBC has a highly qualified academic team comprising over 80 international staff from over 10 different countries around the world.
In this way we maintained a SBC tradition for our international students and academic staff to celebrate Christmas each year with festivities, food and fun.
