Oct. 30th, the first Culture Expo was held by SBC international students. The chosen theme was ‘Indonesia’. The event lasted about half a day and attracted around 200 teachers and students who participated in the fun and games. The event featured all aspects of Indonesian culture through exhibitions, food and movie-showings.
The SBC currently enrolls about 150 international students from 42 countries and regions across the world. Monthly Culture Expo’s will be held by international students and Chinese students around campus throughout the year in order to improve students’ cross-cultural awareness and to make further contributions to the internationalization of SBC campus life.
The second Culture Expo will be held at Nov. 27th with the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) as its chosen theme.
