Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Vice President) of Manchester Metropolitan University visits SBC

On the morning of the 17th October, Professor Dennis Dunn MBE JP, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Vice President) International and Dean of Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) Cheshire paid a visit to the Sino-British College.

MMU Cheshire is a multidisciplinary faculty based in Crewe which offers courses in sport, business, contemporary arts and various interdisciplinary studies.

SBC’s Principal and CEO, Professor Ian Gow OBE met with Professor Dunn in the SBC Board Room and delivered a presentation on the recent developments at the college.

Professor Dunn is responsible for international issues and the development of international strategies at MMU. The main purpose of his visit was to discuss new international strategies for his University regarding SBC.

During the meeting with Professor Gow, new initiatives were discussed on how to establish an even closer relationship between the two institutions, with strategies explored for moving forward towards inter-collegial, degree-level teaching and research. Positive discussions were also made regarding potential MMU degree programmes to be run at SBC in the future.
