How can I compose a GOOD CV?

There is no good or bad CV, only one that is a GOOD FIT for a job position!

Tips: Be CLEAR about your career objectives before writing your CV.

Search for good examples of CV’s targeting the position you are interested in. FEATURE your strengths in line with the job description.

Compose your practical experience by using the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) format.

Employment competition in China

Over six million graduates join China’s labour market each year so competition in the Chinese market is high. Graduates with good language skills and practical experience will have a head start over those who do not posses these attributes.

The labour market in cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou is becoming very crowded and saturated with new graduates. Graduates should consider other cities in China to seek new opportunities and increase the chances of securing a good job and new career.

Social networking is IMPORTANT to access job Opportunities

Social networking has become an increasingly common and important part of seeking work. Take every chance to discover potential job opportunities by networking at events such as presentations by industry guests, Career Salon events and social parties.
